Neo Summer Radiation is an upcoming experimental RPG with a card-based beat-em-up arcade battle mechanic set in a tropical retro-futuristic metropolitan.

Concept Development

One day, a phenomenon known as Neo Summer Radiation has changed the world drastically. Some people disappeared, some people survived and gained superpowers, and mysterious creatures have appeared. People have been speculating the main causes of the event and predicting the outcome of the event, but none of them have successfully explained the event. The phenomenon has affected Los Suenos, a retro-futuristic metropolitan in a tropical region. Rai, a retired particle physicist, is intrigued by the event and he wants to find answers about the phenomenon. The mayor of Los Suenos appointed him to lead a team of people who gained superpowers to investigate the city. Join Rai, Winona, & Marshall as they fight unexpected enemies, build new forces with unusual allies, and explore the deepest mysteries of the driving force behind the phenomenon.

Neo Summer Radiation is a journey of knowledge in a world full of absurdity. Facing the unpredictable force of the universe while the characters are embracing long forgotten hopes and dreams. The game takes place in Los Suenos, a tropical retrofuturistic metropolitan which is shown by the complex skyscrapers and palm trees. The game takes place in a forgotten alternate future where it has cultural similarities & counterparts with the present world we live in. This game is about people achieving their goals in an unpredictable & meaningless world as they struggle in their lives while the impermanence of things exists.
